What is accessibility?

Accessibility is the condition that environments, processes, goods, and services must meet to allow all individuals to participate in society on equal terms. It encompasses any action, process, or strategy that, by removing barriers, enables people to move, communicate, use, and live fully, inclusively, and independently.

Accessibility for physical and built environments

We incorporate the Universal Design perspective into project design; we design and implement accessible infrastructure, tactile maps, and adapt layouts to ensure that open and enclosed spaces are accessible; additionally, we develop inclusive circulation and evacuation plans.

Audiovisual accessibility

We implement descriptive subtitles, audio description for visually impaired individuals in various languages, and sign language interpretation.

Web and digital accessibility

We design, develop, and/or test websites and digital platforms; we address issues to ensure navigability with screen reader software for visually impaired individuals; we develop accessible virtual classrooms for online training.

Accessibility to information and communications

We implement pictograms, adapt texts for easy reading and plain language; we ensure accessibility across social media, emails, and work documents.
